Description:
The Forest Stands - Phase IV project is a continuation of forest stand map automation being conducted for the New Hampshire Department of Resources and Economic Development, Division of Forests and Lands. Forest stand boundaries as well as other land features, including stone walls, streams, boundary monuments, trails, and roads, are automated by means of a digitizing board or "heads up" digitizing based on scanned map sheets.
