New Hampshire Arc Users GroupThe next meeting of the NH Arc Users Group is scheduled for TBA. The NH Arc Users Group was formed to provide an informal venue for users of ESRI products to meet and exchange ideas and technical expertise. The members are primarily professional GIS users within the state. The users group has neither a formal budget nor a formal mandate from any other organization. It is supported by the labor and services donated by its members and the organizations that employ them. Meetings are free and open to users of all levels and experience. They occur 3 to 4 times a year at various locations throughout the state. The meetings consist of round table discussions, presentations, help sessions and demonstrations by professional users of ESRI products. Topics include: research, education, natural resources, transportation, health, environment, police, security, and government and municipal applications. Shane Bradt of UNH Cooperative Extension is the coordinator for the Users Group. For more information about the meetings, please contact Shane at: Shane Bradt Cooperative Extension 214 Nesmith Hall University of New Hampshire Durham, NH 03824 603-862-4277 sbradt@ceunh.unh.edu
New Hampshire GIS Advisory CommitteeThe next GIS Advisory Committee Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, July 23 at the Department of Environmental Services. Please click here for more details. The NH GIS Advisory Committee was established in 1987 as a sub-committee of the Governor's Council on Resources and Economic Development (CORD). The Committee was formed to coordinate mapping and GIS-related activities of the members, and to recommend policies, standards, and related measures to CORD for endorsement and implementation. The Committee meets regularly, and has drawn into its membership representatives of all state agencies actively involved in mapping, as well as representatives of several federal agencies, regional planning agencies, and the University of New Hampshire.
