Community Food Insecurity in NH
DescriptionUnder subcontract to The Carsey Institute, UNH, we are identifying, categorizing, and mapping food insecure areas in New Hampshire, access to types of food providers, and diet-related morbidity and mortality. Mapping will allow researchers to uncover the spatial relationships describing access to healthy foods by people coping with food insecurity, and link those relationships to the areas of the state with high and low prevalence of dietary-related health outcomes.   More

DFIRM Post Preliminary Processing - Merrimack / Hillsborough Counties, NH

Conservation and Public Lands Update - 2008

Forest Stands - Phase IV
DescriptionThe Forest Stands - Phase IV project is a continuation of forest stand map automation being conducted for the New Hampshire Department of Resources and Economic Development, Division of Forests and Lands. Stream Buffer Characterization in Coastal NH
DescriptionThe Complex Systems Research Center at the University of New Hampshire conducted a characterization of 2nd order and higher streams within the Great Bay Watershed of coastal New Hampshire. Stream Buffer Theme - GRANIT Data Mapper
DescriptionSurface water buffers were produced to depict buffer zones around surface waters for each town in New Hampshire. The data were generated by buffering features from the New Hampshire Hydrography Dataset by various buffer sizes ranging from 50 ft. to 300 ft. The buffer results were incorporated into the Water Resources theme of the NH GRANIT Data Mapper, and a theme tool was added to summarize surface water buffer acreage.  More

I93 CTAP Land Use Mapping Coordination
